1. What this notice covers

This notice explains what Chula Vista Porta Potty does with information when you call us, when you browse https://www.chulavistaportapotty.com, and when you become a customer. It is written to describe how the business actually operates rather than to cover every hypothetical, and it is short because the business collects very little.

2. The short version

We are a phone business. There is no booking form on this site, no account to create, no newsletter and no email address. If you never call us, we do not hold anything about you beyond ordinary anonymous web analytics. If you do call us, we hold what is needed to deliver, service and collect the units, and to bill you for them.

3. Information you give us on the telephone

When you call, we take the delivery address, the dates, a contact name and number, and whatever site detail matters for the job - gate codes, access notes, the person to ask for on arrival. If you become a customer we also keep the billing details needed to invoice you.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, government identification numbers, dates of birth or any information about your household beyond who to call when the truck arrives.

4. Payment information

Card payments are taken by our payment processor. The full card number never reaches us and is not stored on this site or in our records; we see only what the processor shows us, such as the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.

5. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs - IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time of the request - for security and troubleshooting. If analytics are running, they measure page views and traffic sources in aggregate.

This site sets no cookies of its own. Pages that embed a map from Google may cause your browser to receive cookies from that provider, governed by that provider's own privacy terms rather than ours.

6. Why we hold any of it

To quote a job, to get a truck to the right place, to service and collect the units, to invoice, and to keep the records a business is required to keep. That is the complete list. We do not build profiles, we do not run a marketing list, and we do not use your information to advertise to you.

7. Who else sees it

Our drivers and office staff. Our payment processor for the transaction. Our accountant and, where the law requires it, a public authority responding to a valid legal process. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks - and under California law, we have never done so.

8. How long it is kept

Job and access records are kept while the rental is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, because customers who rented last spring usually call again. Billing records are kept for the period tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.

9. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from, the right to request that we delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, and there is no financial incentive program attached to any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, telephone us on (619) 391-3597 during opening hours and tell us what you want. We will verify that you are the person the records relate to - normally by matching the phone number and address on the job - and respond within the time the law allows. Exercising a right will never change the price you are quoted or the service you receive.

An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business and household rental service. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

11. Security

Records are held on business systems with access limited to the people who need them. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that plainly than promise otherwise. Because we hold so little - no card numbers, no accounts, no passwords - there is very little to lose if something did go wrong.

12. Changes, and how to reach us

If this notice changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify.
